Mass of Healing from Racism

Mass against Racism

Sunday, October 14 at 5:30pm

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church , 7000 35th Avenue SW, Seattle

“Racism has rightly been called America’s original sin. It remains a blot on our national life and continues to cause acts and attitudes of hatred. The need to condemn, and combat, the demonic ideologies of racism has become especially urgent at this time. Our efforts must be constantly led and accompanied by prayer—but they must also include concrete action.”

– The United States Catholic Bishops, September 2017

Join with Catholics from the Archdiocese of Seattle to celebrate a Healing Mass from the social sin of racism with Fr. Jack Walmesley presiding. Together, let us pray for justice and peace for all races and peoples, and seek an end to racism and raise people’s awareness of this form of evil. All are welcome.
